Pamela Kuťáková works with a contemporary photography and her post-conceptual approach strongly rezonates with the studio of Anna Daučíková at Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, in which she graduated. A searching for the coordinates – relations is being commented with subjective content, each time intentionally working with an unsaid story, event or situation. The observed object is usually in its natural environment, thus not expecting to be an accomplice of an ongoing work. An intimacy of author’s viewfinder thus describes everyday sensitive view of common surroundings yet an actor is a human being or a blanket if you like. An existential burden is though transcribed into seemingly banal themes. A hidden irony is thus a critique of contemporary world.
