The 35m2 is an artist run space and non-profit gallery for contemporary artistic activity. It was founded in 2006 by artists Michal Pěchouček and Petra Steinerová. The current curatorial team consists of Viktória Beličáková, František Fekete, Lexa Peroutka and Tereza Záchová. The gallery is focused mainly on progressive and young visual artists creating their solo projects, sometimes even their first ones. Nevertheless its program also provides a place for more established and experienced authors including international ones. The curatorial team gives an opportunity as free as possible to create and experiment to artists and emphasizes the importance of an originality of their artistic approach and visual thinking. The dialogue between curator and artist plays a key role within the process of making an exhibition. A selection of artists tries to be as open as can be regarding contemporary art.
Entrance to the gallery is free of charge.
